Riding in the car with my parents behind the wheel is becoming unbearable. OK, I appreciate my dad taking me to school today because of the snow/ice on our mountain, but as soon as we get through the icy part of the street he guns it and starts weaving through all the other cars who are scared to even hit the normal speed limit. Driving down 17th on campus to drop me off at Kane, he was tailgating a biker!
The other day my mom and I were late so she was going 60 on Coal Creek (speed limit 40) and just straight up ran a red light on Ranier. I'm suprised my mom's poor accord is still alive. She'll go from 0 to 45 to a dead stop in maybe 6 seconds. The worst part is she doesn't think there's anything wrong with that. We should probably just let her run that car into the ground though. Not literally of course!
I still stand by requiring people over 60 to be retested for their driver's license.
